Do you specialize in any type of cuisine?
I grew up with a rich exposure to fine dining and cuisine and have adapted many classics to chic innovative inspirations. The carnivorous experiences allowed me to transform gourmet cuisine to the vegetarian/vegan palette. My passions encompass healthy fare, spectacular cocktail parties, multi-course dinners with wine pairings, and pescaterian signature dishes. My portfolio is extensive.

Do you create custom menus?
Yes, your consultation will include several options as well as VIP amenities. In addition your final menu will be designed with graphics and beautifully mounted on card stock to match the style of your event and is provided with our compliments.

Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes. When discussing your food preferences, and any dietary restrictions, the menus are then customized to incorporate all of your needs. We offer a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menu options. Organic products available upon request.

Can I make special requests to the menu design?
Of course! Our service is very personalized and designed to fit your lifestyle. If there are favorite recipes or dishes you would like to have, just let me know.

What is the best way to begin?
Call me at 203-221-7711 to discuss the specific personal chef CT services you are interested in. We’ll provide different options that fit your needs. We’ll discuss your date & time, location and any logistical or space challenges, an estimate of the number of guests you plan to invite, type of service (full service, formal service, delivery), type of menu (plated, buffet, hors d’oeuvres). The parameters of your budget are also important. Keep in mind that the time of day and length of the party influences the amount of food necessary, and consequently the cost of your catering.

How do I secure my date with VIP Chef Services
A signed contract and a deposit is required to secure your event date. VIP Chef Services will send you a written itemized proposal based on your inquiry along with Terms of Agreement. If you need to make any adjustments or additions, a new contract will be sent as a “Change Order”.

What is your deposit requirement?
We require deposits for any of our services which guarantees the calendar date for your event and locks in quoted pricing.
At time of booking: 50% of the total invoice to secure your date
30 days out: 25% additional
2 weeks prior to actual event: Remaining balance due *
*In certain circumstances, we allow the final balance to be paid in cash upon arrival prior to unloading

Can you provide servers, chefs and bartenders?
Yes, we provide experienced staff, professionally attired who will set up, run and break down your entire event. Our waitstaff is not available to babysit or transport your guests

What other services do you provide?
Where necessary, we work closely with favored vendors and are able to provide and coordinate:
All of the rental items needed to produce your event, including:

  • China, flatware, tents, tables, chairs
  • Flower and tabletop décor, Linens
  • Espresso Service with demi tasse
  • Valet services
  • Lounge furniture, bars
  • Full woodshop to manufacture any party props imaginable!
  • Musicians, DJ’s
  • Photography
  • Stylists – Hair & Makeup.

Can we schedule a chef tasting?
Yes, depending on your event requirements, we can arrange a tasting for you at a private chef tasting at the chef’s table.

Can we provide our own liquor/ beverages?

Yes. Please also remember to include ice, tubs for wines/champagne,beer, scoops for ice, garnishes, etc. We recommend you add plain or sparkling water for your guests.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept business or personal checks, cash or secured payments through Paypal. A 3.25% administrative fee is charged with Paypal payments. A receipt is provided along with contracts and itemized proposal.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Each service has a specified cancellation policy, clearly designated in our contracts. Please ask your consultant when you inquire about the services you are interested in.
